The production of pleated air filters begins with the preparation of filter materials, such as high-efficiency materials like glass fiber and polyester fiber, which are cut into standard-sized rolls. The core process is precise pleating, where the filter material is evenly folded into wavy pleats by an automatic pleating machine, with the pleat height and spacing precisely controlled to significantly increase the filtration area. Subsequently, the pleat spacing is fixed with hot melt adhesive or separator strips to prevent the filter material from collapsing. Then, the pleated filter material is precisely attached to a metal or plastic outer frame, and the gaps are filled with sealant to ensure airtightness. Finally, protective nets and end caps are added, and the products undergo airtightness, filtration efficiency, and resistance tests. Qualified products are then packaged. The entire process takes into account both structural strength and filtration performance, meeting the needs of industrial and civil air purification.
